Myler Eggbutt Bit MB03
$247.99 $275.00
Myler Stainless Steel Eggbutt without Hooks, MB 03 Comfort Snaffle with Copper Roller, Level 1
The MB 03 is the Myler alternative to the traditional French link or lozenge mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits with an added copper roller. The MB 03 rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movement™.
Independent Side Movement
Stainless Steel Mouthpiece
Curved Mouthpiece
Copper Inlay
NOT Dressage Legal
Notes: The MB 03 is identical to the MB 02 except for a copper roller on the center barrel which can comfort horses that are restless or nervous. For more tongue relief, step up to the MB 04.
An eggbutt is a traditional cheek style which keeps the mouthpiece from draping on the tongue, providing a more direct signal than the loose ring. The straight side of eggbutt will not pull through the mouth and does not pinch. For a more versatile version, see the eggbutt with hooks.

Myler Eggbutt Bit w/ Hooks MB43LP
$242.99 $270.00
Myler Stainless Steel Eggbutt with Hooks, MB 43LP Narrow Low Ported Barrel, Level 2-3
The MB 43LP does not rotate on to the tongue, but instead sits solidly across the bars and lips of the horse’s mouth. The port is narrower than a Level 3 mouthpiece, but still offers room for the horse’s tongue to pass under the bit. Because the port is narrow, when the reins are engaged, the horse will feel a slight pressure on the outside edges of the tongue — a gentle reminder rather than a strong reprimand. The port on this mouthpiece is only 1 ¼" high, so it will apply little to no palate pressure. It is the mildest of the Level 2-3 mouthpieces in terms of tongue pressure, just one step below a Level 3 mouthpiece.
Independent Side Movement
Stainless Steel mouthpiece
Curved Mouthpiece does not pinch lips and bars

Notes: For more tongue relief and the Level 3 version of this mouthpiece, see the MB 33. For a correctional mouthpiece, see the 41PB. For more tongue pressure, see the MB 27LP, MB 27PB or the MB 41PB.
Eggbutt with Hooks: The addition of the hooks to the cheek make this a more versatile version of the standard eggbutt. Attaching the headstall to the top hook holds the bit in the correct position instead of allowing it to slide around the bridle cheeks. Attaching the reins to the rein hooks allows the rider to lift the cheek and use the Independent Side Movement™ of the mouthpiece (if available). Using the hooks does not add leverage but allows the rider to transition from a direct rein action to indirect action without changing the bit. Adding a curb strap (using a Myler curb strap kit) incorporates curb pressure. Curb pressure is recommended for ported mouthpieces.
The small loop behind the top slot accommodates a curb strap (attach with two curb hooks). Both the top bridle slot and bottom rein slot will fit standard ⅝" bridle leather.
Size: 3 ½" rounded ring
Action: Direct rein action when rein hook is not used. Indirect rein action when rein is fixed on rein hook.
Discipline: English or Western
Degree of Leverage: Little to no leverage when the hooks are used.

Myler Dee Ring Bit w/ Hooks MB06
$251.99 $280.00
Myler Stainless Steel 3 3/4" Dee with Hooks, MB 06 Mullen with Low Ported Barrel, Level 2-3
3" Dee on Pony Sizes
The MB 06 is a Myler alternative to the traditional mullen, but it has a wide low port that allows the tongue to pass under it comfortably. The port is ¾" high, just enough to allow the horse’s tongue to elevate slightly and swallow, but not high enough for palate pressure. When the reins are engaged, the 06 applies pressure primarily to the bars and lips.
Independent Side Movement
Stainless Steel Mouthpiece
Curved mouthpiece does not pinch lips and bars
Copper Inlay

Notes: This mouthpiece is a step up in tongue relief from Level 2, but because the port is low, it does not offer as much tongue relief as other Level 2-3 mouthpieces with slightly higher ports because the tongue is still somewhat restricted. The MB 36 mouthpiece will offer more tongue relief than the MB 06 when the reins are relaxed, but more tongue pressure when the reins are engaged. For more overall tongue relief, see MB 43LP.
The dee with hooks is a stainless steel "D" shaped ring with fixed attachment of the mouthpiece, as well as slots (“hooks”) at the top and bottom of the ring for bridle and rein attachment. The small loop behind the top slot accommodates a curb strap (attach with two curb hooks). Both the top bridle slot and bottom rein slot on the standard and medium dee will fit standard ⅝" bridle leather. The slots on the pony dee will fit ¾" bridle leather.
The hooks make this a much more versatile version of the dee without hooks. Attaching the headstall to the top hook holds the bit in the correct position instead of allowing it to slide around the bridle cheek pieces. Attaching the reins to the rein hooks allow the rider to lift the cheek and use the Independent Side Movement™ of the mouthpiece. Using the hooks does not add leverage but allows the rider to transition from a direct rein action to indirect action without changing the bit. Myler Kimberwick Bit MB33
$299.99 $340.00
Myler Stainless Steel Kimberwick, MB 33 Medium Wide Ported Barrel, Level 3
The MB 33 is the mildest Myler mouthpiece in terms of tongue pressure. The generously wide port allows room for the tongue to pass almost completely under the bit. Because this mouthpiece does not rotate on to the tongue and the port is wide, it applies little to no tongue pressure, working primarily off the lips and bars. The port on this mouthpiece is only 1 ½" high, so it will apply little to no palate pressure. Because the MB 33 offers such a high degree of tongue relief, the horse that goes well in this mouthpiece has a trustworthy and consistent disposition, and is trained to work off the leg and seat as well as the hands.
Independent Side Movement
Stainless Steel Mouthpiece
Curved Mouthpiece
Copper Inlay
Notes: For a slight increase in tongue pressure, see the MB 43LP or MB 43MP. For same tongue relief without Independent Side Movement, see the MB 16 (Western only). For the same tongue relief and Independent Side Movement, but with a slight degree of collapse, see the MB 05. For more generous tongue relief, see the MB 16PB.
The Kimberwick is a “D” shaped stainless steel ring with a purchase for the headstall and two attachment options for a single pair of reins: the direct (snaffle) and the indirect (curb) positions. Comes with curb chain. Like the Pelham, the purchase creates a fixed cheek so the bit is held in the correct position. The rider can choose the direct (snaffle) position or indirect (Curb) position for rein attachment. The Indirect Rein position adds very little to mild leverage. Designed to be used with only one pair of reins.
Action: Snaffle position is Direct rein action. Curb position is Indirect rein action.
Size: 4" “D” shaped ring with purchase
Discipline: English
Degree of Leverage: Very little to mild leverage when the lower rein hook is used.

Myler Dee Ring Bit MB03T
$260.99 $290.00
Myler Stainless Steel Dee without Hooks, MB 03T Twisted Comfort Snaffle with Copper Roller, Level 1
The MB 03T is a Myler twist version of the traditional French link or lozenge mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits with an added copper roller. The MB 03T rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movement™. The MB 03T twist has no pronounced sharp edges, and the twist is a mirror on each side of the center barrel to provide a balanced feel for horse and rider.

Myler Dee Ring Bit MB10
$191.99 $213.00
Myler Stainless Steel 3 3/4" Dee without Hooks, MB 10 French Link Snaffle, Level 1
The MB 10 is a more comfortable Myler version of the traditional French link mouthpiece. It has a smaller link with a flatter contour which allows the tongue more freedom in the mouth and minimizes interference with the palate. Although it lacks the benefits of a “true” Myler mouthpiece, it has a distinctive curve so the bars of the bit wrap around the horse’s bar and lips which make the bit more comfortable.

Notes: The MB 10 disperses pressure over the tongue similarly to the MB 02, but does not offer the Independent Side Movement™ of a true Myler mouthpiece. Myler Loose Ring Bit w/ Sweet Iron Mouth MB02
$197.99 $220.00
Myler Stainless Steel Loose Ring, Comfort Snaffle Wide Barrel, Level 1
The MB 02 is the Myler alternative to the traditional French link or lozenge mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits. The MB 02 rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movement™.

USEF Dressage Legal, 2019
Notes: The mouthpiece is similar to the MB 02 but the center barrel of the MB 01 is narrower, which concentrates pressure on the center of the tongue more than the MB 02. For more tongue relief, step up to the MB 04.
The loose ring is a simple stainless steel "O" shape where both the bridle and mouthpiece have no fixed point of attachment but slide freely around the ring. The loose ring allows a lot of play as the mouthpiece slides freely around the ring.
Size: 3" ring
Action: Direct
Discipline: English or Western
Notes: The loose ring is generally considered one of the most non-interfering cheek pieces because the mouthpiece slides freely around the ring. However the play in the mouthpiece can make it difficult for a horse to find your hands as the mouthpiece is in continual motion. The movement of the mouthpiece can also exaggerate or create a busy mouth in young or anxious horses. It is best suited for more advanced horses fully schooled in leg and seat aids as well as rein aids.

Myler Stainless Steel Eggbutt with Hooks, MB 36 Mullen Forward Tilt Low Ported Barrel, Level 2-3
The MB 36 is a Myler alternative to the traditional mullen, but it has a wide low port that allows the tongue to pass under it comfortably. The port is 1" high, and tilted forward at a 45º angle, allowing just enough room for the horse’s tongue to elevate slightly and swallow, but not high enough for palate pressure. When the reins are engaged, the MB 36 applies pressure primarily to the bars and lip, but also applies tongue pressure because of the forward tilt.

Notes: This mouthpiece is a step up in tongue relief from Level 2, but because the port is low, it does not offer as much tongue relief as other Level 2-3 mouthpieces with slightly higher ports because the tongue is still somewhat restricted. The MB 36 mouthpiece is similar to the MB 06, except that it is ¼" higher and the port is tilted forward. The MB 06 mouthpiece will apply less tongue pressure than the MB 36 but additionally offer less tongue relief when the reins are relaxed. For more overall tongue relief and less tongue pressure, see the 43LP.

Myler Dee Ring Bit MB32-3
$296.99 $330.00
Myler Stainless Steel 3 3/4" Dee without Hooks, MB 32-3 Mullen Triple Barrel, Level 2
The MB 32-3 is an innovative Myler alternative to the traditional mullen. It has three barrels which turn the mouthpiece from the typical solid bar of a mullen into a flexible bar which allows the horse to elevate his tongue and swallow more easily. When the reins are engaged, the mouthpiece becomes a solid bar like a traditional mullen, but with an exaggerated curve. This curved bar rotates across the bars and lips down on to the tongue, applying pressure across the entire surface of the tongue. The flexibility of the MB 32-3 makes it very forgiving and comforting when relaxed, but offers the rider control when engaged.

Notes: Because the tongue pressure applied by the MB 32-3 is evenly distributed across the entire tongue, this mouthpiece is considered "stronger" than the MB 04. However, its flexibility makes it a forgiving mouthpiece that works well for horses who have suffered mouth trauma or damage, or horses that tend to go behind the bit. For a ported mullen style offering more tongue relief, see the MB 06 or MB 36.
The dee without hooks is a traditional "D" shaped cheek with fixed attachment of the mouthpiece. This style keeps the mouthpiece from draping on the tongue, providing a more direct signal than the loose ring. The straight side of the dee will not pull through the mouth and does not pinch.
